Some Games Are Desensitizing
Before Professor Plum arrived at his old employer's mansion, he had no clue that a hall could be a large, rectangular room. In all the buildings at the old university, halls were long and narrow, sometimes lined with books, and led places. They certainly didn't allow enough space to swing the brass bat he found, standing upright on a table near the door.
"What a lovely candlestick," he approved, walking past the still, sleeping form of his host, slumped in a chair.
"It would be if it wasn't covered in blood," sniffed the housekeeper. "That's the second time this week!"
